MEP salaries could be cut in EU fixed salary plans

Certain members of the European parliament could face a salary cut under plans to fix the wages of all members of the EU parliament.

Irish MEP’s now earn €73,000-€91,000 a year, but the EU states have agreed to fix salaries at €84,000.
