Third arrest in Kildare street-death investigation

A third man has been arrested after the death of a Brazilian man in Kildare town yesterday morning.

The body of a man in his 30s was found following a disturbance at a house on Ruanbeg Close off the Newbridge Road at around 4 o'clock on Saturday morning.

The 23-year-old non-national was arrested in Newbridge at 9.30am today.

Gardaí have a deadline of midday to either charge or release two other non-national men, who were arrested yesterday afternoon.
