Cullen 'committed to making Dublin more bike-friendly'
Transport Minister Martin Cullen has said he is committed to pushing private traffic out of Dublin city centre.
Speaking at the Velo-City conference in Dublin today, Mr Cullen said he was determined to make the city centre more pedestrian and bike-friendly.
"Public transport in and around the city centre is the solution," he said. "I will have no hesitation in putting those facilities in place and pushing car traffic out of the centre, making it much more pleasant," he said.
