Postmasters’ Union seeks CCTV cameras in all post offices
The Irish Postmasters' Union is calling for 24-hour security cameras to be installed in every post office in the country.
The call follows yesterday's robbery in Lusk, Co Dublin, during which two raiders were shot dead by gardaí.
The IPU said hundreds of post offices, especially in rural areas, have no CCTV systems, leaving staff like sitting ducks for raiders.
