Gardaí to launch further raids after drugs tip-off
A man is still being questioned by gardaí today after a major drugs seizure last night.
Detectives found €350,000 worth of cocaine in a house in Clondalkin, West Dublin at 9pm after acting on a tip-off.
A garda spokesman said: “Officers had been carrying out surveillance of the area after receiving confidential information.”
Detectives will mount further searches in the Foxdene Green area of Clondalkin today in the wake of the 4kg haul.
The arrested man, aged 22 and from Dublin, is being held at Ronanstown Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act and can be detained for up to seven days.
