Robert Hamill killing inquiry to begin today
A public inquiry into the death of a 25-year-old Catholic man at the hands of a loyalist mob is due to get underway in Craigavon today.
Robert Hamill was beaten to death by the mob in the centre of Portadown, Co Armagh, in May 1997, despite the presence of a nearby RUC patrol that had been put on duty to prevent such attacks.
