Derry residents evacuated as suspect package found

A number of residents have been evacuated from their homes in the Waterside area of Derry following the discovery of a suspicious device this morning.

The object was found in Gelvin Gardens areas and is being examined by bomb disposal experts.

People living in the area have been moved to a nearby school as a precaution.
