Ahern and Harney to attend British-Irish Council meeting

The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and Tánaiste Mary Harney are due to attend a meeting of the British-Irish Council on the Isle of Man today.

The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and Tánaiste Mary Harney are due to attend a meeting of the British-Irish Council on the Isle of Man today.

The Council was established under the 1998 Good Friday Agreement to promote greater co-operation between Ireland and Britain in areas of mutual interest.

Today's meeting will focus on healthcare.
