Man due in court charged with murder of Newry car dealer

A 34-year-old man is due to appear in court in the North today charged with murdering a car dealer in Newry, Co Armagh, last June.

The man was charged last night with murdering 59-year-old Patrick Keenan at his home in the Carrive Drive area of the town.

Mr Keenan died of head injuries and the PSNI said at the time that it believed he may have been killed during a burglary.

The man charged with the crime is due before Banbridge Magistrate's Court this morning.
