A Longford student is this evening fighting for his life after a freak accident when a roof collapsed under him on Friday night.

A Longford student is this evening fighting for his life after a freak accident when a roof collapsed under him on Friday night.

The family of 23 year old Shane Brennan from Newtownforbes, in Co Longford, have kept a bedside vigil over the weekend at the Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar.
