New guidelines unleashed in battle of the bulge

Ireland's family doctors are set to be issued with new guidelines on how to help patients cope with being overweight and obese.

Reports this morning said the guidelines were contained in a report from the National Obesity Taskforce, which is due to be launched by the Taoiseach next week.
