The dispute between Bank of Ireland and Brinks Allied over liability for losses incurred during security van robberies appears to be nearing resolution.

Earlier this week, Brinks stopped carrying out services for the bank due to a row over the company's demand that the bank accept greater liability for losses due to theft.
