The latest arrivals at Fota Wildlife Park, four baby cheetahs, were introduced to the public today.

The four yet-to-be-named cheetahs were born on February 2 and are just under three months old and thriving.

Each cheetah weighed 10oz when born, and now all four are checking in at a healthy 3lbs each.

Cheetahs are on of the world's most endangered species. Since 1984, an incredible 158 cheetahs have been born in Fota Wildlife Park.

Director of Fota Wildlife Park, Dr Neil Stronach said: "The birth of four cheetahs in Fota is particularly welcome news considering there are only a few thousand cheetahs remaining in the wild."
