Conjoined twins not suitable for separation

The conjoined twins born at the National Maternity Hospital in Dublin are not suitable for separation.

Experts at Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin have carried out intensive medical examinations of the twins, who were born yesterday morning.

The babies remain in a critical condition.

The parents are asking for people's prayers, and for privacy.
