Gardaí have named a 42-year-old man killed after losing control of his car and crashing in Co Sligo last night.

Gardaí have named a 42-year-old man killed after losing control of his car and crashing in Co Sligo last night.

The single vehicle accident happened at around 7pm in Cullaghbeg, near Drumcliffe. The victim was Gerard Francis, from Glenview Park in the Grange.

Meanwhile, they have also named the 52-year-old pedestrian who died after being struck by a lorry in Buncrana, Co Donegal, yesterday. He was PJ Flanagan, from Cootehill in Cavan.
