Nurses continue A&E demos

Nurses are due to continue their campaign of demonstrations today in protest at ongoing A&E overcrowding and the Government's failure to tackle the problem.

The protests, which began last week, are taking place at selected hospitals every Tuesday and Thursday until the end of the month.

Today's demonstrations will take place at Limerick Regional Hospital and St Vincent's in Dublin.

The Irish Nurses Organisation has urged the public to participate if they are also angry at the A&E crisis.
