Gardaí investigating suspicious fire death

Gardaí are treating as suspicious the death of a woman whose body was found in a burnt out caravan in Tubber, Co Clare, last Friday.

The woman has been formally identified as 23-year-old Emer O'Loughlin of Ballybourna, Boston, Tubber.

She was an Art student at Galway and Mayo Institute of Technology.

Superintendent Paul Mockler is appealing to taxi and hackney drivers who may have carried a male passenger from Galway City to the Kinvara-Boston area last Friday morning to contact them.
