Cash delivery staff call off threatened stoppage
A threatened stoppage by cash delivery staff has been called off.
Employers and union representatives have agreed to co-operate on developing new health and safety guidelines within the industry.
A meeting is planned for April 25 with the Minister for Justice Michael McDowell.
The chief executive of the newly-formed Security Authority Geraldine Larkin told today's meeting that cash transit companies will have to be certified to professional standards.
