€800,000 sports and cultural funding grants announced
More than €800,000 in funding grants for several Irish festivals, sports and cultural events have been announced by the Department of Arts, Sport and Tourism.
The total funding is €801,926.
The events and grants include:

Ballina Arts & Street Festival €8,440
Cork Midsummer Festival €32,500
Druid Synge €31,000
Dublin Fringe Festival €18,761
ESB Beo €20,000
JFK Dunbrody Festival €20,000
Sionna €20,000
Spraoi €37,600
West Cork Chamber Music Festival €28,125
Fáilte Ireland will administer the grants.
