SIPTU and Irish Ferries discuss case of Filipina worker

SIPTU and Irish Ferries are meeting today to seek a resolution to the case of a Filipina beautician who was employed by the company for just €1 an hour.

The woman was hired via a recruitment agency on a contract that gave her around €350-a-month for working 12-hour days, with just three days off in the month.
