Aquaculture Forum reconvenes

Marine Minister Pat the Cope Gallagher today opened the first meeting of the reactivated Aquaculture Forum.

It was attended by IFA Aquaculture, involving representation from the shellfish and finfish sectors.

The Marine Institute, BIM and Údarás na Gaeltachta also participated, along with officials from the Department.

The objective of the Forum is to facilitate dialogue between all sectors of the industry and relevant State bodies and the Department.
