Man charged with murder after stabbing death
A man has been charged with the murder of a member of the Chinese community in Belfast last week, police said today.
The man is due to appeal before Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday morning.
The victim was found suffering from stab wounds when police went to a flat at Hampton Drive in south Belfast after reports of a disturbance early last Tuesday.
The man was given first aid at the scene but died almost immediately.
Police today finally named the murder victim as Jun Wang, 38, who lived in the flat where he died.
Two men, also from the Chinese community, were found in the flat suffering from injuries, not believed serious.
They were taken to hospital and later arrested.
Police said today one man had been charged with murder. A second man was released from custody without charge.
