Four questioned after firearms found

Gardaí were today questioning four men in Dublin and Offaly about serious crime offences.

Officers discovered firearms and a large quantity of ammunition in a car which was stopped in the Dublin area on St Patrick’s Day. Two men in the car were arrested under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
