Boy dies in Carlow road accident

A six-year-old boy has been killed after he was struck by a car in Co Carlow.

The accident happened at 4.20pm yesterday afternoon at Ballybar.

The boy was taken to Saint Luke's Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
