A 35-year-old man arrested in connection with the murder of Rachel O'Reilly has been released without charge.

A 35-year-old man arrested in connection with the murder of Rachel O'Reilly has been released without charge.

He was detained on Tuesday afternoon and held under Section 9 of the Offences Against the State Act on suspicion of withholding information.

The mother-of-two sustained several blows to the head and was found by her mother in the bedroom of her home on October 4 last

Last week, gardaí exhumed Ms O'Reilly's body, suspecting a note left in her coffin could offer a new lead.
