Work begins on National Aquatic Centre

Repair work is to finally get underway at Ireland's Aquatic Centre in Dublin.

The centre was forced to close in January after bad weather damaged the roof to the 50-metre pool and diving pool.

It has been closed for 12 weeks.

It is believed that health and safety issues are preventing the aquatic centre from re-opening.
