Woman dies in Kilkenny house fire

A woman in her 60's has died in a house fire in Kilkenny. The blaze broke out in a downstairs room of a house in Fatima Place in the city.

The alarm was raised shortly after 11am by a passer-by. Members of the Fire Brigade service discovered the badly burnt body.
