Derry bishop apologises to parishioners

A letter of apology from the Bishop of Derry Seamus Hegarty to parishioners in the diocese has been read out at all masses today.

In the letter, the Bishop apologised for not telling parishioners that a 3% levy on parishes was going towards a fund for the victims of clerical sex abuse.
