Gardaí hunt Co Kildare pub raiders
Gardaí are hunting four raiders who broke into a pub and made off with the takings in Co Kildare overnight.
A 55-year-old barman was locking up his pub in Moone at 2am when he was approached by the youths, who were armed with a sawn off shotgun, sledgehammers and an iron bar.
The raiders, wearing balaclavas and gloves, forced the barman back into the premises and held him until they were able to break into the safe.
Their getaway car was found burnt out nearby.
