Hospital A&E departments face inspections

The Health and Safety Authority is poised to inspect Accident and Emergency departments around the country this weekend.

30 A&E units were supposed to provide safety audits and reports by yesterday.

The HAS is concerned that overcrowding in A&E departments is resulting in hazardous working conditions for staff.
