Cowen targets 'tax-free' millionaires

Millionaires who exploit current tax-free schemes to pay no tax at all must be weeded out of the system, Finance minister Brian Cowen warned tonight.

Mr Cowen said he aims to plug such loopholes in his new Finance Bill currently going through the Dail and his 2006 Budget due later this year.
