The Human Rights Commission has sent a submission to the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination outlining its concerns about the Government’s approach to tackling racism.

The Commission said the submission highlighted the Government’s failure to acknowledge the extent of racism in Ireland and its failure to incorporate international human rights treaties into Irish law.
