An oral hearing into the granting of a draft licence for the toxic waste incinerator planned for Ringaskiddy, Co Cork, is due to get underway today.

The Environmental Protection Agency has arranged the meeting to hear the views of supporters and opponents of the facility before deciding on whether to issue a permanent licence.
