Gardaí in Dublin are investigating an armed robbery at a bookmakers’ in the south inner city earlier today.

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating an armed robbery at a bookmakers’ in the south inner city earlier today.

Two men, one armed with a handgun, entered the premises on Cork Street in Dublin at 11.35am and demanded money from staff.

Three shots were fired from a handgun but no-one was injured. The raiders got away with a small amount of cash.
