70 jobs to go in Coleraine chicken plant

Seventy workers at the Coleraine Farm Fed Chickens processing plant are losing their jobs, Britain's Transport and General Workers Union said tonight.

Staff had been told the workers, part of a workforce of 350, were being paid off because an order had fallen through, said the union.
