Relations between workers and management at the company are frayed at the moment, mainly due to cost-cutting measures designed to offset mounting losses.

Speaking ahead of today's meeting, Fianna Fáil TD Noel O'Flynn, the chairman of the communications committee, said he wanted to see a negotiated solution to the problems at An Post.
