Beaumont hospital procurement irregularities exposed

The State's spending watchdog has exposed serious irregularities in the company accounts of Dublin's Beaumont hospital.

Comptroller and Auditor General John Purcell has informed the Dáil's Public Accounts Committee of payments sought for work not done, and the re-tendering for work already completed.
