Sercom to close with loss of 220 jobs

Technology company Sercom Solutions in Clondalkin has announced it is to close in April.

220 of the 252 people employed there will be laid off.

32 will be relocated to a smaller facility in Dublin.

The company employs 300 people in Limerick and has plans to expand the operation there once the Dublin plant is shut down.
