Defence Forces team departs on Sri Lanka relief mission

A four-strong team from the Irish Defence Forces is travelling to Sri Lanka this morning to help relief efforts following the St Stephen's Day tsunami disaster.

The team, which will be based in Colombo, will help in the co-ordination and distribution of aid under the auspices of the United Nations.
