Murder probe after woman's body found

A murder inquiry was launched today after a woman’s body was discovered at a house in north Belfast.

The body of the 45-year-old was found after police were called to the property at Bookville Court in the Waterworks area.

One man was arrested and was helping police with their inquiries, said a Police Service spokesman.

Scenes of crime officers sealed off the scene while forensic experts carried out a full examination.

A post mortem is due to be carried out later.
