A 72-year-old man has died following a two car collision last night.

A 72-year-old man has died following a two car collision last night.

The accident happened in the village of Collon on the N2 between Ardee and Slane.

The man was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where he later died.
