Two gardaí to aid search for Irish victims in Thailand
Two senior gardaí are due to depart for Thailand in the next 24 hours to aid the search for Irish people missing following the St Stephen's Day tsunami disaster.
The detective superintendent and a detective sergeant will be helping search for the bodies of three Irish people feared to have been killed when a massive tidal wave hit Thailand and 10 other countries on December 26.
Last night, the body of 27-year-old Dublin woman Eilis Finnegan was found among the thousands of people killed in Thailand.
