Efforts continue to find missing Irish
The Department of Foreign Affairs is continuing efforts to locate Irish people missing in south-east Asia since the St Stephen's Day tsunami disaster.
The department is focusing on four "priority cases" who were holidaying in Thailand at the time of the huge tidal wave, which struck 11 countries from Malaysia to the east coast of Africa.
The official death toll from the disaster stands at around 145,000 today, but thousands more are still missing and aid agencies have warned that the final toll may never be known.
