Up to 60 households in Co Meath have no electricity this morning after freak winds brought down power lines.

About 2,000 homes in north Dublin and Meath were hit by black-outs during yesterday's storms.

An ESB spokesperson has said that power will be restored to residents in Clonee some time this afternoon.
