The Dublin Airport Authority has presented a €2,500 holiday voucher to the 17 millionth passenger to pass through the airport this year - a toddler.

The authority said three-year-old Ciara Moss, from Dun Laoghaire in Dublin, became the 17 millionth passenger to use the airport when she arrived on a flight from Stansted this morning.

The DAA said it decided to celebrate the milestone as it had never facilitated 17 million passengers in one year in its 64-year history.
