Gardaí in Dublin are treating the death of a Croatian man in the city yesterday as murder after a post mortem confirmed he had sustained a number of stab wounds.

Gardaí in Dublin are treating the death of a Croatian man in the city yesterday as murder after a post mortem confirmed he had sustained a number of stab wounds.

The 38-year-old was found dead by a relative at an apartment on Pembroke Road in Ballsbridge at around 4pm yesterday afternoon.

Gardaí were initially treating the death as suspicious, but launched a full murder inquiry this morning after receiving the results of the post mortem.

The dead man’s name has not been released.
