The Irish Kidney Association pledged today to build a million-euro holiday centre for dialysis patients if the State would run it.

Mark Murphy, chief executive of the Irish Kidney Association (IKA), said the group was looking to build a unit in Tramore in Co Waterford which could also be for holiday use.
