The Unmarried and Separated Fathers of Ireland organisation is due to mount a demonstration in Dublin this afternoon to highlight the plight of men denied access to their children.

The group said such men experience particular difficulties at Christmas time.

Speaking ahead of today’s protest, spokesman Eamon Quinn said Christmas is a sad and lonely time for men who have no access to their children.

He also reiterated his organisation’s call for early-intervention support measures to help men, women and children following family break-ups.
