Man remanded in Colleen Mulder death investigation

A 43-year-old man has been remanded in custody in connection with the death of Colleen Mulder in Co Meath on Friday.

The man appeared in court in Navan today, charged in connection with Ms Mulder's death in Dunshaughlin.

The body of Mrs Mulder, a 41-year-old mother of six, was discovered at her home yesterday morning.

At court today, the man was accused of assaulting Ms Mulder on December 17. The court was told that the accused would likely face a more serious charge.

He was not granted bail and is due to appear before Dunshaughlin District Court next Tuesday.
