Woman's body found in Meath

Gardaí are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a house in Co Meath this morning.

The discovery was made at a house on the Ratoath Road, near Dunshaughlin, at around 11am.

Gardaí said the woman, who was in her 40s, was found dead in her bed by a family member.

A post mortem is due to be carried out later today and the scene has been preserved pending technical examination.
